OH! The latest issue of Poet Lore was waiting in my mailbox today, and it contains one of my poems, “Five Hundred Crows.” The volume is gorgeous and very intense, and I highly recommend you pick up a copy! =P

Jennifer Dempsey lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she directs the Learning Commons at Laramie County Community College. A graduate of University of Maryland's MFA program and 2014 Artist-in-Residence at Acadia National Park, she has worked on several literary journals, including Sakura Review and Third Coast. When she is not working, Jennifer climbs mountains and travels across the US, Asia, and Europe, continuing her research and poetry on the relationship between land and myth.
